Diaverum to cooperate with Houses of Mercy on Campos dos Goytacazes clinic project

Munich / Campos dos Goytacazes, 1 August 2013 – The Swedish renal care specialist Diaverum broadens its footprint by cooperating with a House of Mercy on the construction of a dialysis clinic in Campos dos Goytacazes, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  The clinic will focus on haemodialysis and be equipped with 35 monitors, capable of treating 210 patients suffering from chronic kidney disease.

Diaverum's cooperation with the House of Mercy of Campos dos Goytacazes on a clinic project, means more than just setting  its first steps on Brazilian soil. “Chronic kidney disease needs a holistic and personalized approach to care. Our cooperation with Houses of Mercy enables us to share our vast expertise on renal disease and approach to clinic management”, says Dag Andersson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Diaverum. “Up to 210 patients will be treated in the Campos dos Goytacazes clinic. We are glad that Houses of Mercy has offered us the possibility to apply our expertise in order to improve the quality of life of renal patients.
